Dear reader
Happy New Year! I hope that the weight of your 'Inbox' hasn't made entry into 2012 too painful.
It's one of life's little ironies that the Chairman of the UK Pirate Party (aka Loz Kaye) and I share exactly the same name. Name sharing v. file sharing!
Olivia Solon of 'Wired' magazine recently interviewed Loz and me on a range of digital media law issues. You can find the piece published today in 'Wired' here.
Although we disagreed a quite a few issues (e.g. Digital Economy Act), we also had a lot in common, especially our recognition of the role that the creative industries can play in getting UK plc out of the current economic mess.
I hope you enjoy the read. If you want any more detail on any of the points discussed, just let me know.
Have a good week.
Laurie Kaye
